Facilities and Machinery Capability
At Able Industries Engineering, our facilities are fully equipped with the necessary technology and machinery to take care of your metal fabrication and project-based engineering needs – large or small.
We use a complete range of CNC machinery complemented by CAD/CAM facilities, as well as precision welding plate rolling equipment. We also have a dedicated paint facility, certified to AS/NZS 41141.1 and 41141.2 Paint Standards, industrial storage facility and a vehicle processing centre.

Business Award
Able Industries Engineering won the manufacturers award at the Hobsons Bay business awards night dinner at the recently converted Newport substation.

The awards showcase innovation and creativity
in the achievements of businesses throughout the Hobsons Bay area, and aim to promote the calibre and diversity of 3500 local businesses.
The Mayor of Hobsons Bay Councillor Peter Hemphill announced the winners of the inaugural 2009 Hobsons Bay Business Excellence Awards at an awards ceremony held on Friday, 23rd October at The Substation.
"This award recognises the efforts of all the employees at Able Industries Engineering and lifts the profile of our company within the Hobson Bay area and beyond" said Stephen Martyn.
New Paint Facility
Able Industries Engineering has just updated its paint facility to now include an additional 2 painting booths.
These recently completed upgrades include;
- Humidity control
- Contaminant free environment
- Water wall
- Water floor
- Clean air supply
- Rapid cure baking
Able Industries Engineering now meets AS/NZS41141.1 and 41141.2 Australian paint standards.
